Giant ice cream sundae, adios Daylight Saving Time!

Yesterday’s winner: Rebecca!

I think my new thing is drawing gigantic, over-the-top desserts. R, here is your massive ice cream sundae.

Rebecca's giant ice cream sundaeMaking this drawing gave me a serious craving for ice cream. (Then again, aren’t I always craving ice cream? Yes. Yes, I am.) Hey R, want some help eating this gigantic creation?

Today’s random thought: Going off Daylight Saving Time is just about my favorite thing ever. I know it means it’ll now get darker earlier, but it also means I get an extra hour of sleep tomorrow. Extra sleep is a college student’s best friend.

I don’t have a riddle today, since tomorrow is Random Picture Sunday, but I’m trying to figure out what I’m going to do next week. No more riddles, but I’ll have another fun thing for you guys do to! Any suggestions? Lay ‘em on me!

Happy Saturday!

Giant bundt cake, headaches, and this week’s last riddle.

Yesterday’s winner: Katie!

K asked for stuffing, but I had absolutely no idea how to make stuffing on paint. So instead, I made a giant bundt cake. The best part? It’s from a picture of an actual bundt cake we had at Thanksgiving last year. Seriously, is it turkey time yet?!
Katie's bundt cakeToday’s swimming update:
I didn’t make it today, which is super sad, because I was so close to actually swimming three times in one week. I had a good reason, though. I’ve been getting a lot of bad headaches lately, and I woke up with a doozy. I think I might be getting the headaches because of the antibiotics I’m on, but I’m not sure. Does anyone have any thoughts?

This is your last riddle for the week! Enjoy!

Giant stack of cookies, riddle no. 3, and Thanksgiving love.

Yesterday’s riddle winner: Gina!

I felt a little bit if pressure making this picture, since G used to be our graphic designer at ing Magazine. I thought about being super savvy and making it in Adobe Illustrator… and then remembered I have zero graphic editing skills and it would look like a gigantic mess. So I decided to play to my strengths (copy and pasting pictures and drawing stick figures) and made the image in Paint.

Hey, G. I made you this little beauty in the Com Arts lobby. So I’m pretty sure at least 15 people walked by my computer and wondered what on earth I was doing. I don’t know why–doesn’t everyone spend their time playing with Paint?

Also. You don’t get just one virtual cookie. You get six.

Random thought of the day: I know this is trite, but Christmas doesn’t start until after Thanksgiving. Really. Give the turkey and Pilgrim decorations some lovin’ before you pull out the gigantic Santa Claus.

Anyyyyway, I know you all are dying to see what today’s riddle is.

A doctor and a bus driver are in love with the same girl. The bus driver had to go on a long trip, so he gave the girl seven apples. Why?
Comment with the answer! Who knows, I might change things up tomorrow and give you a virtual cupcake instead. Will the madness never cease?!
