The first post about post-grad life
Well, this happened: (Photo cred: My dear friend Taylor.) I officially graduated with a B.A. in journalism from Michigan State University on Friday, May 3. For those of you who know me personally, I can hear you muttering under your … Continue reading

Summer adventure #1: Watch the sunrise
Sometimes, I think my family is a little insane. My cottage is on a peninsula that’s sandwiched between Lake Erie and Rondeau Bay, and as such, we get the best of both worlds: the sun rises over the lake and … Continue reading

Painting fail.

Random picture Sunday: the grad school edition.
I know what you’re thinking: grad school? Huh? Actually, what you’re probably thinking is, “You’re a freaking sophomore. Stop planning out your life.” Yeah well, planning out my life is what I do. So there. But anyway, yes. I’ve been … Continue reading
Oh caf, you are my best friend.
Except not really. Spring semester lesson #18: Sometimes being a vegetarian and surviving on caf food is easy. Other times, not so much. So here’s the thing: I gave up meat for Lent (and possibly indefinitely–a story for another time), … Continue reading

ALPHA LOVE.
You ever have one of those days where you’re not quite sure how you got from point A to point B, and all of the sudden you realize everything’s changed and your life isn’t going to be the same again? … Continue reading

So what now?
I’m just gonna say it: I am a very controlling person. I don’t like group projects because I don’t like not being the only one controlling my grade. I don’t like getting rides to important places from other people because … Continue reading
