Random picture Sunday: the hippo mouth edition.

Hippo mouth

Anyone who knows my family should’ve known that this week’s animal would be a hippo. My dad loves hippos, and we were taught to do the classic “hippo mouth” (which the baby is doing in this photo) before we even learned how to talk. You’d think we’d stop doing the hippo mouth when we grew up, right?

Grown up hippo mouth

Wrong. But hippos are awesome, so it’s okay.

In other news, my sister ate a grape tomato today and liked it, and I told her I’d blog about it. She hates tomatoes and has been known to throw food she doesn’t like on the floor, which would’ve been helpful if we had a dog to eat it, but we never did. We’re glad that, at age 26, she’s finally eating grown-up food. (Kidding!)

Anyway, here’s what you can expect this week:

  1. A looooooong overdue grammar post. (Already written, just have to schedule!)
  2. Three or four or a million book reviews.
  3. Possibly a blog about actual life instead of grammar and books. Who knew I still wrote those!

Happy Sunday!
