We all knew this day was coming.
I’m sick.
Despite all my advice on how to not get sick, I managed to catch a pretty nasty cold. My throat is scratchy. I’m very congested. I sneeze all the time. (I sneezed twice while writing this post. No joke.)
Sometimes, however, my sickness is a little funny. I was sitting in the Com Arts hallway on Tuesday (because there are very few tables by outlets–don’t even get me started on that!) and watching a show on Hulu. I sniffled and was about to blow my nose, when a professor walked by.
She stopped, turned around, and said, “Are you okay?”
Apparently I looked–and sounded–like I was crying. I wasn’t. “Modern Family” isn’t exactly a tear-jerker.
It was a really sweet gesture, though. And I giggled after she left. But I really wish this cold would go away.
And now, for something completely random (but still slightly relevant!) in honor of all my friends at camp:
I made this lovely masterpiece last winter, and I think it’s pretty appropriate, given today’s holiday. (And the fact that I worked at the Jewish Community Center for three summers.) L’shanah tova! Happy Rosh Hashanah!
For everyone else, happy Wednesday!
Still don’t understand how I’m getting eaten by a fish…
These things just happen. Nothing I can do about it!
