This is the first year my sister and brother-in-law didn’t come home for Thanksgiving. My sister is a Ph.D. student at University of Wisconsin and has major exams beginning in January, so she needed to stay home and study this weekend.
My family is incredibly close, so not seeing them this weekend is a little strange. But we improvised.
What did we do before Skype and webcams?
Happy Thanksgiving! Eat lots of pie. Mmmmm.
The Dad: “What’s going on?”
Lisa: “…they’re sheep!”
